A Love That Haunts the Night: An Ode to Edgar Allan Poe’s Eternal Affection

Poetry Image

In shadows deep, where moonlight fades,
A love once lost, in night parades,
Through haunted halls, your whispers flow,
An endless echo, soft and low.

Where ravens perch, and silence sings,
Your heart, it beats with spectral wings,
In dreams that drift, through twilight’s veil,
Our love, a tale, where sorrows sail.

With every verse, your soul reveals,
A passion dark, that time conceals,
Beneath the stars, our spirits blend,
In love’s embrace, we find no end.

Though worlds apart, our hearts entwine,
In poetry, our souls align,
Forever bound, in gothic lore,
Our love, a ghost, forevermore.
