A Heart Torn in Silence, Echoes of a Shattered Dream

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the midnight hour,
Whispers of what once was dance in the air,
A heart torn in silence, lost in despair,
Dreams once bright, now beyond repair.

The stars above, indifferent in their glow,
Bear witness to the tears that freely flow,
Promises once held, now just shadows,
In the vastness of our shared tomorrows.

Memories haunt the corners of my mind,
Fragments of laughter, now so unkind,
Love’s gentle touch, a phantom’s embrace,
Leaving only traces of its fleeting grace.

Yet in this darkness, a flicker remains,
The hope that someday, after the rains,
A heart once broken can find its way,
To new beginnings, beyond the fray.
