A Heart That Longs For Father’s Love

Poetry Image

In the shadows of memories, I walk alone
Seeking the warmth of a father unknown
Words unsaid, affection never shown
In silence, my heart has grown

The echoes of your absence, a haunting song
In the quiet nights, where I belong
A yearning, an ache, so deep and strong
In dreams, I find where I went wrong

A void left by your distant gaze
In the mirror, a reflection of endless maze
Searching for your love in a thousand ways
Lost in the labyrinth of yesterdays

But still, I hold onto a fragile hope
That one day, we’ll mend and cope
A bond rebuilt from the fragments we grope
In love, finally, we’ll find our scope
