In the mirror, a stranger’s face I see,
A heart weighed down, yearning to be free.
Shadows of self-doubt whisper in my ear,
Silent cries echo, feeding on my fear.
Each flaw magnified, a storm inside,
In the depths of my soul, I hide.
A war of thoughts, relentless, unkind,
Seeking solace, but none to find.
The weight of the world on fragile shoulders,
Dreams crushed like fallen boulders.
An endless battle, day and night,
Fighting shadows, out of sight.
Yet in the darkness, a spark remains,
A whisper of hope through the chains.
With each breath, a chance to mend,
To rise from self-hate, and transcend.
