Echoes of Youthful Laughter

Poetry Image

In fields where daylight softly kissed the earth,
We chased the wind with hearts unburdened, free,
Our laughter echoed, testament to mirth,
In games that knew no bounds, just you and me.

The treehouse stood, a fortress in the skies,
Our secret realm of dreams and whispered tales,
Beneath the canopy where sunlight lies,
We sailed on ships with leaves as makeshift sails.

Each summer day was endless, pure delight,
With fireflies that danced in twilight’s glow,
We captured magic in the fading light,
And held it close, afraid to let it go.

Though years have passed, those days remain so clear,
A treasure trove of moments, sweet and wild,
In memories, we’re always drawing near,
To days of childhood wonder, undefiled.
