With hair turning silver, and wrinkles so bold,
We find joy in stories we’ve often retold.
Glasses on foreheads, keys in the fridge,
Each day a new laugh, as we cross life’s bridge.
Our knees may be creaky, our steps may be slow,
But our hearts are still young, with a mischievous glow.
Forgetting our birthdays, but never the fun,
Embracing the sunset, while chasing the sun.
The mirror might show lines, and a face slightly worn,
But inside we’re still dancing, and feeling reborn.
Socks in the oven, remote in the sink,
These tiny mishaps make us pause and think.
Growing older with humor, and laughter so bright,
We cherish each moment, from morning to night.
For life is a journey, with love as our guide,
And in every chuckle, we take aging in stride.
