The Agony of Losing a Sister

Poetry Image

In the quiet dawn, shadows fall,
A sister’s voice, now a distant call.
Her laughter gone, replaced by sorrow,
In memories, we seek tomorrow.

The days are long, the nights are cold,
Without her warmth, we’re feeling old.
Her gentle touch, her caring ways,
Are echoes in the empty days.

Though she has left, her love remains,
In every tear, in all our pains.
Her spirit soars, in skies above,
Watching over, with endless love.

We cherish her, in heart and mind,
A sister’s bond, forever bind.
Though death has come, and taken near,
Her essence lives, with us, so dear.
