Returning Home: A Journey Back to Where the Heart Belongs

Poetry Image

Beneath the twilight’s tender glow,
I trace the path I used to know,
Where whispers of the past reside,
And memories in shadows hide.

The scent of pines, the rustling leaves,
A symphony the heart receives,
Each step a dance of joy and pain,
To feel the lost, to find again.

The silent echoes of the night,
Reflect the stars, a guiding light,
Through winding roads and fields of gold,
The stories of my youth unfold.

At last, I see the welcoming door,
The hearth that warms forevermore,
In this embrace, I find my peace,
Returning home, my soul’s release.
