The Shattered Faith Beneath the Holy Light, Where Prayers Echo in Silent Night, In the Shadows of Sacred Fright, Lies the Heart’s Relentless Plight

Poetry Image

Beneath the stained glass windows, a soul lost in despair,
Whispers of salvation, but no solace in the air.
Each prayer a heavy burden, each hymn a silent cry,
In the house of the divine, where shadows loom and lie.

The cross that once brought comfort now feels like a chain,
With every step towards the altar, comes a surge of pain.
The echoes of the sermons, a reminder of the past,
In the sanctity of the church, where innocence didn’t last.

The hands that offer blessings now seem cold and tight,
The promises of heaven lost in the darkest night.
The faith that once was steadfast, now frail and torn,
In the reverence of the holy, where the heart is worn.

Yet in the midst of sorrow, a flicker of hope remains,
A journey towards healing, breaking all the chains.
Through the tears and anguish, a new dawn will arise,
In the embrace of true faith, where the spirit flies.
