When Love Takes Its Final Bow

Poetry Image

In the stillness of the night, my heart does weep,
For the love we shared, now buried deep.
The whispers of our past, now echoes in the air,
A silent reminder, of moments we used to share.

The stars above, they seem to dim their light,
As I walk this lonely road, in the dark of night.
Your smile, your touch, now just a distant dream,
A fading memory, in the moon’s silent gleam.

The tears I shed, they fall like autumn rain,
Each drop a testament, to our love’s sweet pain.
I hold on to the fragments, of what we used to be,
But in my heart, I know, I must set you free.

So here we stand, at the edge of goodbye,
With heavy hearts, and tear-filled eyes.
Though our paths diverge, and we part ways,
I’ll cherish our love, for all my days.
