February’s Whispering Shadows of Love and Loss

Poetry Image

In the heart of winter’s chill,
February paints a somber scene,
With whispers of love and shadows still,
Beneath the sky’s gray sheen.

The days are short, the nights so long,
Yet warmth is found in fleeting moments,
A lover’s touch, a sweet love song,
In February’s cold atonement.

Memories frozen in time’s embrace,
Of hearts once full, now bittersweet,
In silent nights, we find our place,
Where love and loss in twilight meet.

The snowflakes fall, a gentle dance,
Each one a story, pure and fleeting,
February’s whisper, a fleeting chance,
To hold love close, despite the fleeting.
