The Hollow Heart: Emptiness in the Silent Void

Poetry Image

In the shadow of the night, I lie awake,
A vacant soul, an echo without sound.
The stars above, their cold light they forsake,
Within this void where emptiness is found.

The whispers of the wind, they pass me by,
Like fleeting dreams that never come to stay.
Beneath a moonless sky, I wonder why,
This hollow heart feels heavy in the fray.

The silence speaks in tones of dark despair,
As memories fade into the endless deep.
No comfort here, no solace anywhere,
Just shadows dancing where the shadows weep.

Alone I drift, through corridors of time,
Where every step is haunted by the past.
In emptiness, I seek a silent rhyme,
To find a peace that I may hold at last.
