In the quiet of the night, when all is still,
A whisper creeps, unbidden, through the mind,
Shadows cast by fears, they start to fill,
With restless thoughts, my peace they seek to bind.
A tightening in the chest, a racing heart,
The world around becomes a blur of dread,
Each breath a struggle, each step a start,
As hope and calm in silence seem to shed.
Yet in the darkest moments, light can bloom,
A gentle hand, a word, a knowing glance,
Through tangled webs of worry, thereâs a room,
Where courage grows, and fears lose their stance.
So as the night gives way to dawnâs embrace,
And shadows fade with morningâs golden light,
I find the strength to meet the day with grace,
For in each breath, I know Iâll be alright.
