When Goodbyes Whisper in the Wind

Poetry Image

The moonlight spills on empty sheets,
Where once your warmth did rest,
Now silence holds me in its grip,
As memories fill the nest.

Your laughter echoes through the halls,
A ghost of what once was,
Each corner holds a piece of you,
In shadows and in dust.

The days stretch long without your smile,
The nights, an endless sea,
I search the stars for signs of hope,
But none shines back at me.

Yet in this void, I find a strength,
A love that won’t depart,
For though you’re gone, your spirit stays,
Forever in my heart.
