Midnight Guardians of the Moonlit Sky

Poetry Image

In the velvet cloak of night, they rise,
Silent shadows ‘neath the starlit skies.
With eyes like amber flames aglow,
They watch the world in whispers low.

Their wings spread wide, a ghostly flight,
Through ancient woods, they dance in light.
The secrets of the night they keep,
As we below in slumber deep.

With hoots that echo through the trees,
They summon mysteries on the breeze.
Each flutter, each deliberate glide,
In nature’s lore, they do confide.

O midnight guardians, wise and old,
Your stories in the dark unfold.
We dream beneath your watchful gaze,
Enchanted by your twilight ways.
