The Silent Killer: The Dark Road of Alcohol Abuse

Poetry Image

In shadows deep, a bottle gleams,
Promising solace in shattered dreams.
Each sip, a step on a treacherous path,
Leading to sorrow, leading to wrath.

The mind once clear, now fogged and lost,
In a sea of regret, emotions tossed.
Relationships fray, bonds are broken,
Words of love left unspoken.

Nights grow longer, days seem grim,
Life’s vibrant colors fade and dim.
The mirror reflects a stranger’s face,
A soul entrapped in a dark embrace.

Yet hope remains, a distant light,
To break free from this endless night.
With courage found, and strength anew,
The dawn will rise, with skies of blue.
