Dreams Deferred: The Silent Struggles of Teenage Mothers

Poetry Image

In the quiet night, a young heart beats,
With dreams once bright, now shadowed by feats.
A life unborn, a path unplanned,
Teenage whispers in a silent land.

A cradle rocks, with tender care,
Innocence lost, replaced by a stare.
Friends fade away, futures seem torn,
In the arms of youth, a new life is born.

Nights grow longer, sleepless and cold,
Stories of struggle, yet to be told.
Hopes redefined, in the infant’s cry,
A young mother’s tears, under the sky.

Yet in the dawn, strength is found,
In tiny hands, hopes resound.
A journey tough, but love will guide,
Through a path where dreams and reality collide.
