The Illusion of Perfection: Unveiling True Beauty

Poetry Image

In the mirror’s gaze, we search and seek,
Chasing shadows, fragile and weak.
Standards set by unseen hands,
Beauty confined in shifting sands.

Eyes that judge with a fleeting glance,
Measuring worth in a fleeting dance.
Yet true beauty lies deep within,
Beyond the surface, beneath the skin.

A smile that lights the darkest night,
A heart that beats with pure delight.
These are the traits that truly define,
A beauty unbound, divine, and kind.

So break the chains, let go the mold,
Embrace the stories yet untold.
In every flaw, every scar, every line,
Lies a beauty unique, forever thine.
