In the Shadows of Agony: A Journey through the Valleys of Pain

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, shadows fall,
Whispers of sorrow echo through the hall.
Every breath, a reminder of the ache,
In the depths of the heart, the pain does quake.

The silent tears that no one sees,
Carving rivers of grief with gentle ease.
Memories of joy now tainted with despair,
Leaving the soul in disrepair.

The days stretch long, the nights even longer,
Each moment a test to grow stronger.
Yet in the darkness, a flicker of light,
A promise of dawn after the endless night.

Though pain may grip and refuse to let go,
There is a strength in the sorrow we know.
For in every wound, a story lies,
And in every tear, the spirit rises.
