The ice melts in whispers, a silent plea,
As the polar bear roams on a thinning sea.
Forests ablaze, their cries fill the air,
Nature’s lament, a burden we all share.
Rivers run dry where they once flowed free,
The deserts expand, claiming each tree.
Storms rage with fury, oceans swell high,
A planet in turmoil, beneath a troubled sky.
Species vanish, their echoes remain,
A loss that reverberates, a lingering pain.
Glaciers recede, mountains stand bare,
A fragile beauty, now gasping for air.
Yet hope still flickers, like a distant star,
In the actions we take, in the changes we spar.
For in unity and love, we find our might,
To heal our Earth, to make things right.
