The Shadows of Apartheid: A Tale of Division, Pain, and Hope

Poetry Image

In the land where shadows loom,
A bitter wind of division blows,
Walls erected, hearts consumed,
By the pain that history sows.

Faces turned from one another,
Eyes that dare not meet,
Souls divided, estranged brothers,
Walking paths of cold defeat.

Yet amid the darkest night,
A spark of hope ignites,
Dreams of unity take flight,
In the relentless fight for rights.

O, let the walls come tumbling down,
Let love and justice reign,
So every face can wear a crown,
And heal the ancient pain.
