The Silent Symphony of Unrequited Love

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners of my heart, I dwell,
Whispering secrets only shadows tell,
Your name, a melody in the silent night,
A love unreturned, hidden from sight.

Each gaze, a fleeting dream in disguise,
Your eyes, stars that light up my skies,
Yet distance grows with every smile you share,
Leaving me to breathe this lonely air.

My heart, a captive of unspoken words,
Beat after beat, like wings of unseen birds,
I long to tell you, to break this spell,
But fear holds me in its silent cell.

So here I stand, in shadows deep and long,
Singing the notes of a love’s quiet song,
A symphony of feelings left unsaid,
In the silent night, where my heart has bled.
