Whispers of a Silent Soul: In the Shadows of My Heart, Where the Light Fades, and the Night Reigns

Poetry Image

In the quiet of the night, where shadows softly creep,
Lies a heart once vibrant, now in depths it weeps.
The moon casts its glow on a world turned gray,
As echoes of laughter fade silently away.

Eyes that once sparkled with dreams untold,
Now gaze upon remnants of a world so cold.
Each breath a whisper, a plea to the skies,
For solace or reason in the tears that arise.

In the solitude of silence, the demons dance,
Mocking the heart with their cruel romance.
Chains of despair bind the spirit tight,
In the endless cycle of day and night.

Yet in the darkest hour, when hope seems lost,
A flicker of light defies the frost.
For even in sadness, a heart can mend,
And find in its depths, the strength to ascend.
