Echoes of Your Absence

Poetry Image

In the silence, where shadows fall,
I hear whispers of your name, softly call.
The stars seem dim without your light,
And the moon weeps in the quiet night.

The wind carries memories, gentle and sweet,
Of laughter shared, where our hearts would meet.
Yet now the days feel long and cold,
In the void where your presence used to hold.

Time moves slowly, a relentless tide,
With each tick, the distance grows wide.
Yet in the dreams where we reunite,
I find solace, in the embrace of night.

Until the day we meet once more,
I hold your essence, close to the core.
For in my heart, you forever stay,
A guiding light, come what may.
