Another year has come and gone,
My hair is greyer, my steps less strong.
Yet laughter lines my face each day,
In this journey of life, come what may.
My glasses thicker, my memory thin,
But oh, the joy each wrinkle brings!
With each new candle on the cake,
A new adventure we undertake.
Forgetting names, misplacing keys,
These little quirks bring so much glee.
For in these moments, we find delight,
In playful jests, our spirits light.
So here’s to aging, with grace and mirth,
Embracing each year for all it’s worth.
With humor and love, we face the tide,
Growing older, with laughter as our guide.
