When Shadows Whisper in the Twilight

Poetry Image

In the silent hush of evening’s fall,
Where shadows stretch their gentle arms,
I hear your voice in the whispering wind,
A melody soft, a tender balm.

The stars above, your eyes they mirror,
Shining with a distant, ethereal glow,
Guiding me through the night so vast,
In dreams where only love can flow.

The echoes of your laughter linger,
In the corridors of my wistful heart,
Weaving memories with threads of gold,
Though time has come to keep us apart.

Yet in the dawn’s first gentle light,
I find your presence in every morn,
A love eternal, forever bright,
In the tapestry of life, reborn.
