Emily’s Silent Symphony for Sue

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners of her mind,
Where thoughts of Sue would gently wind,
Emily found a world so true,
A realm where love and words ensue.

In letters penned with tender grace,
She captured Sue’s ethereal face,
Every stroke a silent plea,
For a love that wished to be set free.

Beneath the stars in Amherst’s skies,
Their spirits danced, their hearts would rise,
In shadows cast by moonlit glow,
Their secret love, the world won’t know.

A symphony of whispered rhyme,
In Emily’s heart, for all of time,
Sue’s presence, a guiding light,
In poetry, their souls unite.
