The Silent Cry of Nature: A Reflection on Pollution’s Impact and Our Call to Action

Poetry Image

In the whispering winds that carry tales untold,
Lies a burden heavy, stories of the bold.
Nature’s tears fall, unseen by the eye,
While smoke and smog fill the once clear sky.

Rivers that danced with shimmering grace,
Now flow with sorrow, a polluted embrace.
The gentle murmur of the forest’s song,
Drowned by the noise where we went wrong.

Mountains stand tall, witnesses to the change,
Their peaks now shadowed, a vision so strange.
Once a sanctuary, now a field of despair,
The earth’s lament is heard everywhere.

Yet hope lingers in the hearts that care,
To mend the wounds, to be aware.
A call to action, a promise to renew,
For a future bright, where skies are blue.
