Under the Shadow of Martial Law: A Silent Cry for Freedom

Poetry Image

In the hush of night, fear takes its throne,
Streets once vibrant, now silenced and cold.
Shadows of power loom, a chilling tone,
As whispers of freedom are quietly told.

The moon hides behind clouds of despair,
While dreams are shackled in chains unseen.
A heart’s silent plea hangs in the air,
For hope to rise where darkness has been.

The eyes of the world seem to turn away,
From cries that echo in muted halls.
Yet courage blooms like a new day,
Breaking through tyranny’s towering walls.

When dawn arrives on freedom’s wings,
With voices united, strong and clear.
The song of the people, together it sings,
A future unbound, where love conquers fear.
