In the shadowed corners of my mind,
A whisper echoes, soft yet strong,
Carrying fears I cannot bind,
A relentless, haunting song.
The world outside, a distant dream,
With every step, the ground may quake,
Caught in the flow of a silent scream,
An endless tide I cannot break.
Heartbeats thunder, racing fast,
A clock that ticks with heavy hands,
Bound in chains of the present past,
Lost in the shifting, sinking sands.
Yet in this storm, a light may rise,
A gentle hand, a hopeful glance,
To guide me through these stormy skies,
And teach my weary soul to dance.
