The Silent Echoes of a Love Once Held Close

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners of the night,
Where shadows dance in moonlit grace,
A whisper of your name takes flight,
Across the stars, a fleeting trace.

Memories like autumn leaves fall,
Gently to the earth they descend,
Each one a moment I recall,
A story of love that had no end.

The echoes of laughter still remain,
In the spaces where we used to be,
Yet all that’s left is silent pain,
A haunting song of you and me.

Though time may blur the lines of fate,
In dreams, your face will never fade,
For in my heart you’re etched in slate,
A love that time could not invade.
