When Shadows Gather and Hearts Whisper

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners of the night,
Where whispers of sorrow softly dwell,
Two friends sit beneath the silver light,
Their hearts echoing a silent farewell.

Moonlit tears trace paths of old,
As memories dance in the cool breeze,
Stories of laughter and secrets told,
Now wrapped in the arms of unease.

Their eyes speak words unspoken,
In the language only hearts can hear,
Promises and dreams now broken,
Yet in their silence, they draw near.

Though shadows may gather around,
And the world may seem vast and wide,
In their quiet bond, solace is found,
Sad friends, together, side by side.
