The Shadows of Economic Despair: Whispers of a World in Turmoil

Poetry Image

In the dust of dreams once bright,
Echoes of hope fade from sight.
Bread lines stretch through endless days,
Silent cries in a world ablaze.

Tattered clothes and weary eyes,
Silent prayers to empty skies.
Coins clink in hollow cups,
As time’s cruel hand never stops.

Fields lay barren, factories still,
A nation’s heart grows cold and chill.
Yet in the darkest, deepest night,
Flickers a distant, stubborn light.

From ashes rise the seeds of change,
In unity, we’ll rearrange.
Through the storm, we’ll find our way,
To brighter dawns and hopeful days.
