Shame: A Silent Whisper in the Heart’s Chamber

Poetry Image

In the shadows of the mind’s quiet hall,
Shame lingers, a silent whispering call,
It cloaks the heart in a veil so dense,
A relentless echo of past events.

Each moment, a mirror of flawed reflection,
Casting doubt upon one’s own direction,
A burden heavy, yet unseen by sight,
It steals the joy of the brightest light.

Yet in its weight, a lesson hides,
To embrace the truth and cast aside,
The chains that bind with their silent scream,
For within every shadow, lies a beam.

Rise above the whispers that confine,
And let the light of self-forgiveness shine,
For shame, though strong, can be undone,
By the warmth of love and the hope of the sun.
