The Silent Hunger: Shadows of Malnutrition’s Grip

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners, hunger cries,Invisible to those with plenty. The hollow eyes, the empty sighs,Speak volumes of their silent plea.Fields of promise, yet barren hands,Children with dreams, fading fast.Where whispers turn to desperate demands,A future lost, a shadow cast. The aching void that fills the night,A constant gnawing, never eased.Hope flickers dim in the fading light,As malnutrition takes its feast.Yet in the darkness, a spark remains,With every heart that dares to care.To nourish souls, to break these chains,And breathe new life into despair.
