In the Shadows of Self-Doubt: A Journey Through Self-Loathing and the Search for Light

Poetry Image

In the mirror, a stranger’s face,
Tangled in whispers of disgrace,
Eyes that see a flawed reflection,
Trapped within self-rejection.

Every scar, a story untold,
In silent screams, the heart grows cold,
Dreams fade like a fleeting sigh,
Underneath a relentless sky.

Yet in the dark, a flicker remains,
A glimmer of hope through the chains,
For every shadow, there’s a dawn,
A chance to rise, to be reborn.

So hold on tight, dear weary heart,
Though the world may seem to fall apart,
Love yourself, embrace the scars,
Find the light among the stars.
