When Shadows Linger, Friends Fade

Poetry Image

In the twilight of our laughter, shadows grow,
Friends once close, now distant, ebb and flow.
Silent echoes of memories, bittersweet,
Hearts once in harmony, now discreet.

We tread on paths once shared, now apart,
The weight of unspoken words, heavy on the heart.
In the silence, we seek solace, but find none,
The bond we cherished, undone.

Tears fall in the quiet of the night,
Friends lost in the dimming light.
The warmth of friendship, now a cold embrace,
As we drift away, in this empty space.

Yet, in the sorrow, hope may still reside,
For even in the darkest nights, stars may guide.
Perhaps one day, our paths will cross again,
And the silence will break, with the warmth of friends.
