The Weight of Unspoken Sorrows

Poetry Image

In the quiet shadows of a sleepless night,
Where dreams dissolve into mist and light,
Echoes of pain whisper in the dark,
Etching scars on a weary heart.

Beneath the facade of a smile worn thin,
Lies a storm of grief, unvoiced within,
Tears fall silent, like raindrops unseen,
Drowning in a sea of what might have been.

Memories linger, like ghosts in the air,
Haunted by moments that lead to despair,
Each breath a reminder of the ache inside,
A silent scream where solace hides.

In the garden of sorrow, where shadows bloom,
Pain takes root, in the silent gloom,
Yet even in darkness, a spark remains,
A hope that one day, release from these chains.
