The Strength of Being Black: A Journey Through Shadows and Light

Poetry Image

In the depths of night, a star does shine,
A heart of gold, a soul divine.
Whispers of ancestors in the wind,
Stories of courage, where we begin.

Skin like onyx, a tapestry of dreams,
Strength in unity, or so it seems.
Through trials and triumphs, we rise tall,
A testament to power, breaking every wall.

Voices echo, a melody of pride,
In every step, in every stride.
The world may tremble, but we stand strong,
A symphony of colors, where we belong.

With eyes wide open, we face the dawn,
In every challenge, a new day is born.
Embrace the journey, let the spirit fly,
For in being Black, we touch the sky.
