Love’s Tender Embrace and the Agony of Loss

Poetry Image

In the gentle whisper of a lover’s sigh,
We find a world where hearts can fly,
Through fields of dreams and skies so high,
Yet anchored deep by love’s sweet tie.

The warmth of touch, the gaze of eyes,
A bond so strong, it never dies,
But shadows fall as time complies,
And love’s bright flame begins to cry.

For in love’s light, pain finds its way,
A cruel reminder, night and day,
That even hearts, so strong, can sway,
And from our grasp, love may decay.

Yet through the tears and endless night,
We hold on tight, with all our might,
For love, though frail, burns ever bright,
A beacon in the darkest fight.
