In the quiet halls of my mind,
Shadows dance in whispered tones,
A silent storm, a tangled bind,
Where light is lost, and darkness roams.
The weight of clouds upon my chest,
A heavy fog that steals the dawn,
In restless nights devoid of rest,
I seek the sun, but it is gone.
Echoes of laughter, distant and faint,
Haunt the spaces where hope once lay,
A canvas painted with despair’s taint,
As dreams dissolve in shades of gray.
Yet in the depths, a flicker of light,
A gentle promise of a new day,
Through silent battles, I find my fight,
To rise from shadows and find my way.
