Whispered Cries in Silent Rooms: A Tale of Domestic Shadows

Poetry Image

Within these walls, a silent scream
Echoes through the night unseen
Shadows cast by love once pure
Now a prison, hard to endure

Bruises hidden, tears that dry
Behind closed doors, the heart’s silent cry
Words that cut, hands that bind
In this darkness, no solace to find

Dreams once bright, now faded to gray
In a world where hope seems far away
Chains of fear, a life confined
Seeking light, but so hard to find

Yet within, a spark remains
A whisper of hope through all the pain
One day, these chains will break
And from the shadows, freedom will awake
