Whispers in the Shadows: Unseen Chains of Discrimination

Poetry Image

In the quiet alleys of our minds,
Where whispers roam and linger long,
There lies a chain of unkind binds,
A silent, sorrowful, hidden song.

Eyes that see but choose to ignore,
Voices raised yet still unheard,
Hearts that beat behind closed doors,
Stories told but never stirred.

Walls built high with words of scorn,
Dividing souls with unseen lines,
Dreams deferred, hopes forlorn,
In a world of muted signs.

Yet still, a light begins to rise,
A gentle flame of unity,
Breaking through the darkest lies,
A shared cry for equality.
