When the World Feels Like a Stranger’s Home

Poetry Image

In a crowd where laughter echoes, yet silence fills my space,Wandering through conversations, as if lost in a race.Seeking connection in a sea of familiar faces,Yet feeling like a puzzle piece in the wrong places. The stars above whisper tales of belonging,But here on earth, the search seems never-ending.Paths crossed with kindred souls, still missing that thread,A tapestry of connections, yet a heart underfed. In the shadow of others’ dreams, I tread softly,Hoping to find my voice in this cacophony.A melody that sings of unique hues and tones,Yearning for a rhythm that feels like my own.So I weave my story in solitude’s embrace,Finding solace in the quiet, a comforting space. For maybe one day, the world will open a door,Where fitting in won’t matter, and I’ll belong once more.
