When the Mind Wanders to Silent Shores

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners of a bustling mind,Where echoes of reality fade away,I find myself adrift, untethered,On silent shores where shadows play. The world outside whispers but is dim,A distant hum of forgotten tales; Here in this realm of gentle mist,Time stands still, as presence pales.Aloft on winds of fragmented thought,I float through dreams half-formed;Each moment slips through fingers,In this calm where storms are calmed.Yet in this space, a flicker of light,A reminder of the world once known; And with it, the pull to return,To find the self, to be whole, to own.
