The Echoes of a Warming World: A Lament for the Changing Skies

Poetry Image

In the whispers of the melting ice,
A tale of warmth and forgotten snow,
Rivers once bold now quietly sigh,
Beneath the sun’s relentless glow.

Forests weep as fires dance,
Embers light the darkened night,
Creatures flee a shrinking chance,
Seeking refuge from the blight.

Oceans rise to touch the stars,
Swallowing shores with tidal might,
Cities brace for nature’s scars,
As balance tilts from wrong to right.

Yet in the hearts of those who care,
Hope ignites a daring spark,
To heal the earth, the skies, the air,
And guide us from this looming dark.
