When Hearts Drift Apart and Silence Echoes Loudly

Poetry Image

In the quiet corners of an empty room,
Where whispers once danced through the air,
Shadows linger, tracing forgotten steps,
Of a family fractured beyond repair.

The laughter that echoed through the halls,
Now replaced by silence, cold and stark,
Memories, like faded photographs,
Tell tales of love that lost its spark.

Walls that once held warm embraces,
Now stand as barriers to tender touch,
Hearts once woven in intricate patterns,
Find themselves unraveling too much.

Yet in the fragments, hope still glimmers,
A yearning for healing, slow and true,
For even in the midst of brokenness,
Love seeks a path to renew.
