The Gentle Erosion of Time’s Silent Whispers on a Fading Mind

Poetry Image

In the corridors of a forgotten past,
Memories drift like autumn leaves,
Whispers of laughter fade too fast,
In the gentle embrace of time’s thieves.

Faces once known now shadows cast,
Names like echoes in a distant breeze,
In the mist where moments cannot last,
A mind seeks solace, yearns for release.

Hands that tremble, searching for light,
Through the haze of yesterday’s glow,
Holding on to fragments in the night,
Where fleeting glimpses of clarity flow.

Yet in the heart, a love remains,
Beyond the reach of time’s cruel art,
A soul endures, though memory wanes,
In the depth of a beating, steadfast heart.
