The Weight of Endless Sorrow

Poetry Image

In the quiet depths of night, where shadows softly creep,
Lies a sorrow, deep and vast, in silence it does weep.
A heart encased in heavy fog, a soul that’s lost its way,
Seeking solace in the dark, till break of light of day.

The tears that fall like silent rain, each drop a tale of woe,
They carve their paths through weary hearts, where only sadness grow.
Memories like faded stars, once bright but now they dim,
The echoes of a distant past, a melancholic hymn.

In the garden of forgotten dreams, where sorrow plants its seed,
The flowers bloom in shades of grey, in silence they do bleed.
The weight of all the unspoken words, the grief that never leaves,
A somber dance of shadows cast, beneath the autumn eaves.

Yet in the midst of all this pain, a whisper soft and low,
A promise of a brighter dawn, where hope begins to grow.
For in the heart that knows of sorrow, lies strength that’s yet untold,
And through the tears, a new resolve, a courage to behold.
