The Echoes of Rejection in Silent Whispers

Poetry Image

In the shadows of my heart, a whisper lingers,
The echoes of rejection, like frostbitten fingers,
They trace the outlines of dreams now shattered,
Leaving behind a soul bruised and battered.

Nights spent in solitude, the mind replays,
The moments of hope turned to dismay,
Words left unspoken, now haunt the silence,
A dance of despair, devoid of guidance.

Eyes once bright, now dimmed with sorrow,
A future once clear, now hard to borrow,
The essence of self, in pieces scattered,
Seeking solace in a world that’s tattered.

Yet in the deep recesses, a spark remains,
A glimmer of strength amidst the chains,
For though rejection wounds, it also molds,
A heart resilient, with stories untold.
